90's reminsce.what do you remember?

As I get older and see how everything has changed over the years, I sit back and reminsce on the 90's! The years when I rocked the loud colors with the matching colored socks. I wore the big boobles in my head with barettes at the end. I was such a nerd back then. I had the big ole pair of glasses that went over my eyebrows sick huh? lol my mother though it was the cutest thing. So here is what I remember about the 90's.........
Elementary Dayz
I remember in school when we had computer time we had to play this mathmatics game where you ate the numbers I forgot the name of it and oh I am most definitely sure everyone who was a kid in the 90's had to play this= Oregon Trail lol. That game was mad hard. I use to get so frustrated because my family would always go hungry an poor.sad face. If you didnt play that I know you guys remember Carmen Sandiego?!? that game was pretty fun too. Recess was the other memory of my elementary days. Classmates and I would get on the swings and swing as high as we possibly could or we would twist the swing because it made us higher where your feet was not touching the ground at all.I got in trouble a couple times for that ha.
Tv shows in the 90s
I was a HUGE Power Rangers fan.THE REAL POWER RANGERS. When Zach was the Black Ranger and Trina the chinese girl was the Yellow Ranger. That was the BEST Power Rangers. Pink Ranger was my absolute fave. I have the gloves that would make noises and play the theme song when you move your hands.Too bad it stopped working.sad face.I'm not throwing that away for nothing! I had all the Power Rangers movies but my grandma gave them away=not cool grams lol. There were ALOT of great kid shows in the 90's Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold, Kenan and Kel, ALL THAT = Classics. I basically loved all the shows Nickelodeon had before they got all boughy! Now Nickelodeon is a mini soap opera with all these"teen" shows. When I got older I became a FRESH PRINCE fanatic. IF YOU HAVE NEVER WATCH AN EPISODE OF FRESH PRINCE SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH YOU! I still watch that show til this day along with Martin, Living Single, and Family Matters.

Kid Movies in the 90s

Lion King is the number 1 kid movie. Everyones favorite part til this day is when Mufasa got killed, "DADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!" lol. Goofy Movie.Fern Gully..Little Mermaid.Oh how could I forget Toy Story that was a big deal too. All of these were to an infinity and beyondd! lol

Music in the 90's I was right along with all the other little girls which either being a N*SYNC or BACKSTREET BOYS FAN. I didn't care too much for Backstreet. I fully supported N*SYNC lol. I even liked Britney Spears back then I can't lie. I went around the house singing" hit me baby one more time". Man did I like Bow Weezy when he was a git. Now back in the late 90's Bow Weezy was having a hit after hit. I have to give him props on that. Then there was lil Romeo."uh uh too young I dont need a girlfriend" all these years I thought he was saying that but he was saying "uh uh Tia I don't need a girl friend" lol. Now Romeo has grown up and is fine as wine hehe cannot rap but he fine.

Technology in the 90s

Portable CD players know they was the ish back then until Ipods/mp3 players blew them out. I went through about three cd players.I kept dropping them ha. I rarely see them now though. How about that Sega Genesis though? aka the first game system of all time. Sega Genesis went so hard man. I wish my cuzzo would have kept his! I use to beat him in Mortal Kombat and Sonic the Hedgehog all day.

I MISS THE PRICES IN THE 90'S EVERYTHING WAS SO EFFIN CHEAP! Maybe because I wasn't paying for anything and my parents were lol but still when I found change in the couch or around the house I would go and buy the little juice jug things that were 50 cents :D, now they are like a $1.00 smh. Have you noticed CANDY has even gone up over the years. I mean its flippin CANDY for crying out loud.lol I would buy Lemonheads or Now-a-Laters... yum yum..I had a couple of cavities but cmon I was a kid.lol

I miss the 90's because to me it was so innocent back then. When I was a kid techonology was not all high tech so the only fun was outside. Now that we have cellphones with unlimited texting plans lol.. computers, game systems, Myspace, etc. I feel like children in this generation act older than what they really need to be or are. In a sense technology has made them "mature" quicker. I remember when mother would tell me to go outside and play, I would stay out all day but the rule was always to be in the house before the street lights came on or that was your behind ha. Man those were the days.It was just like yesterday me out running everybody on my block.......

Our 90's fashion speaks for itself .hahaa. wow. Me and Capt STILL the coolest of all misses :D

The Coolest of All Misses
